About Us

Originally a traditional sign writing business, the company was established in 1979 by our director and founder Richard Clarke. Initially just Richard and his brushes, we evolved over the years to keep pace with new technology and innovation, with computers and vinyl cutters eventually taking over from the hand painted posters and sign.

The big decision was then made to go digital, it was like starting the company all over again! We were one of the first to install the early Encad Novajet large format digital printer, with all the computer and software that all seemed like double dutch! It was a scary but fun time.

Several printers and laminators later, the business had become a forerunner in large format print and print finishing. This enabled us to continue to grow and we moved to our new premises in 2003.

Since moving to our present site, we have continued to invest in the latest technology such as Canon’s  Arizona UV direct to board high quality printer, with white ink technology and the fast paced Colorado roll to roll printer enabling us to stay ahead of the game. Our printers coupled with our own Zund G3 cutter and router reduces much of the time-consuming and labour intensive manual finishing, but the addition of the G3 has greatly improved the end of the production process with its amazing accuracy and quality of finish.

Our end to end process

We can visit your site to gather information on what your requirements before forming a quote. Our surveys help to calculate costs, feasibility and time required to install and advising on the best materials and methods for your project. We use a mix of digital tools to ensure accuracy and held in a digital database ready to be used again and again.

We take your ideas and bring them to life. A customer brief explains the ins and outs of a project to us. We can take this and turn it into a final product.

We take your brief and create a quote from it. Our team will take into account the material we need and the time it will take to turn that into a final product, plus shipping, installation hand delivery.

Combining photo-realism and graphic design we can show you what your final product will look like to an accurate degree.

Our digital art workers can take your concept and turn it into a piece of digital artwork, ready for printing or for use on the web.

If you already have an artwork file ready to be printed, we can help you ensure it is: the correct size, correct color, includes bleed and is properly set up ready for print.

Large, or wide, format printing is essentially printing onto extra large media, from exhibitions to banners and large tray signs to advertise your business get across a message.

A computer numerical control (CNC) cutter/router is a computer-controlled cutting machine which we use to cut various materials like aluminum, acrylic, foam and wood.

Not everything has to be printed. With advancements in coloured vinyl, we can cut graphics using our precision digital plotter, weed and applicate your signage from an extensive range of materials for a multitude of applications. Ideal for vehicle graphics and back lit lighting products.

Similar to the large format printing, we can also laminate those large signs to make them last longer and give them a high quality finish. With a range of finishes including dry wipe, matt, gloss and even non slip floor laminate, we have your graphics covered.

Our team of qualified installers can deliver products to site and install them in the location you want in a professional and timely manner.

We offer a hand delivery service to local companies or for items which are too large to ship and to ensure your signage is delivered as good as new. We currently cover the whole of England.
